Any evidence which you can obtain supplementary to that contained in the letter from the Government of Burmah of the 3rd May, 1900, with special reference to the claims based by the Chinese upon their alleged administration of the country, should be sent to His Majesty's Minister at Peking (see his despatch of the 5th December last, No. 415, paragraph 5.)
